230356 RPS Anglistik (GymGe & HRSGe): Reflection on the Praxissemester II (Ko) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Short comment

This is part of your VPS/BPS Continuum - please make sure to select the same lecturer for all four (VPS-BPS-RPS-Vertiefung) entities.

Contents, comment

This is your final reflection exam; it rounds up your Praxissemester with a reflection on your data collection, your own teaching and your general professionalisation as an English teacher. This is obligatory for everyone doing the Praxissemester in winter term 25/26!
You will make an individual appointment with me where we will discuss the experiences that you made during the practical term. This oral exam is not graded. You will be prepared for this reflection in your BPS class.

Questions that could be discussed in the RPS include:
- How did the PS contribute to my professionalization process as a teacher?
- How do I feel about my future career as a teacher?
- What skills was I (not) able to foster during the PS?

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
