Der Einfluss von Spiritualität und Religiosität wird gegenwärtig in der Fachliteratur im Hinblick auf die Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen oder auch ihrem Wohlergehen breit diskutiert. Gleichzeitig spielten für Vorstellungen von einer guten Kindheit und Jugend Religion und Religiosität eine bedeutsame Rolle. Vorstellungen von Spiritualität beeinflussen den aktuellen Diskurs um eine gute Kindheit, beispielsweise im Bereich Bildung und Schule. Im Seminar wird es zunächst darum gehen, Definitionen und Diskurse von Spiritualität und Religiosität zu erarbeiten. In einem zweiten Schritt sollen Spiritualität und Religiosität in Kindheit und Jugend anhand ausgewählter Studien diskutiert werden.
