Nicht erst im Dadaismus verweist Dichtung durch den Verzicht auf semantische Kohärenz auf ihren Kunstcharakter. Bereits im Mittelalter lassen sich Dichtungen nachweisen, die man aus heutiger Sicht der Unsinnspoesie (zu Recht?) zuordnen möchte. Das Seminar fragt nach den Funktionen und Entstehungsbedingungen solche Texte, die von der Literaturwissenschaft meist vernachlässigt werden.
