300037 Qualitative Online-Forschung (S) (SoSe 2016)

Online-Methoden sind in der interpretativen Sozialforschung bisher noch ein randständiges Thema. Das gilt vor allem für reaktive Methoden (Gruppendiskussionen, Interviews), aber auch für „netnographische“ Verfahren sind noch viele Fragen in Bezug auf internetbasierte Daten ungeklärt. In der Veranstaltung sollen theoretische Voraussetzungen, Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen von Online-Daten für die qualitative Sozialforschung und hier speziell für einzelne ihrer etablierten Erhebungs- und Auswertungs-Verfahren erörtert werden. Dies soll sowohl mittels Textdiskussion, aber - soweit möglich und gewünscht - auch anhand eigener empirischer Proben geschehen.
