Das Seminar richtet den Blick auf strukturelle geschlechterbezogene Ungleichheiten auf dem Arbeitsmarkt, in Arbeitsorganisationen und im sozialen Sicherungssystem. Dabei sind (Arbeits-)Zeit und der Zugang zu materiellen Ressourcen weiterhin Schlüsselthemen der Emanzipation und eine zentrale Voraussetzung für politische und gesellschaftliche Teilhabe. Anhand von verschiedenen Texten geht es u. a. um die wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit Arbeitszeitverkürzungen sowie tariflichen Arbeitszeitregelungen, aber auch um theoretisch-konzeptionelle Fragen von Zeitpolitik. Geld wird aus der Perspektive von Lohn- und Vermögensungleichheiten, prekären Beschäftigungsverhältnissen und Niedriglohnbeschäftigung sowie mit Blick auf die Ausgestaltung von Grundsicherungsleistungen thematisiert. Im letzten Teil des Seminars werden Lösungsansätze und Strategien für eine gerechtere Verteilung von Zeit- und Geldressourcen zwischen den Geschlechtern erörtert.
Es werden Aufsätze aus Zeitschriften und Büchern gelesen. Eine Bereitschaft zur Textarbeit wird vorausgesetzt.
