Contents, comment

Geschichten und Erzählungen prägen in vielfältiger Weise unser soziales und politisches Zusammenleben. Sie formen unsere Vorstellungen von „gut“ und „böse“, von richtig und falsch, relevant und irrelevant. Das Seminar führt in die Forschung zu Narrativen in den Internationalen Beziehungen ein. Es bietet Studierenden die Gelegenheit, verschiedene theoretische Zugänge kennenzulernen und sich damit auseinanderzusetzen, wie Akteur*innen Weltpolitik durch Erzählungen erfahren und beeinflussen. Wir blicken dabei darauf, wie durch Narrative Identitäten konstituiert werden, Zukünfte imaginiert, und Deutungen der Vergangenheit verbreitet werden, wie Prozesse in der Wirtschaft und Politik darüber erfahrbar werden, und Akteur*innen miteinander um die Deutungshoheit ihrer Erzählungen konkurrieren. Das Seminar ist als Blockveranstaltung konzipiert.
