This course will survey examples of South African Prose from the end of WW II to the days of the New South Africa in the last decade of the 20th and early 21st century.
A Reader containing the shorter prose texts will be available in the first class meeting.

Three credit points will be awarded for attendance (1), an oral presentation (1) and a written essay on the topic of the presentation (1)
