230298 Post-Colonialism: British Colonies Post-Independence (S) (WiSe 2014/2015)

Contents, comment

This course will consider British colonies post-independence and investigate the extent to which the achievement of sovereignty has been tantamount to shedding all formative influence wielded by the erstwhile colonial power.
Please note: There is a complementary course on 'Post-colonial English' taught by Professsor Schröder, and we recommend participating in both classes. We will organize joint sessions and suggest joint student presentations. Therefore coming to the preparatory meeting on October 21 is absolutely mandatory for participating in this class
