In diesem Seminar geht es um die Betrachtung der Geschlechterordnung als historisch gewachsene (feministisch: Herrschafts-) Struktur, die gesellschaftlich konstitutiv und systematisch mit ökonomischen Strukturen verwoben ist. Der analytische Begriff hierfür ist „Geschlechterverhältnisse“. Im Seminar wird eine historische Perspektive auf Geschlechterverhältnisse erarbeitet und im weiteren Verlauf insbesondere empirische Arbeiten zum Thema genauer betrachtet. Vorausgesetzt werden bereits grundlegende Kenntnisse zu Konstruktionsweisen von Geschlecht und der Diskussion um Intersektionalität. Erwartet wird die Bereitschaft, eine empirische Studie im Seminar eigenständig vorzustellen sowie das Führen eines Lerntagebuchs.
