Im Zentrum des Seminars stehen zwei Gruppen von Kommunikationstheorien, die grob unter jeweils einem der beiden Label ‚interpersonelle/ zwischenmenschliche Kommunikation‘ bzw. ‚Massenkommunikation‘ gefasst werden können. In einem ersten Schritt sollen die zentralen Aussagen der jeweiligen Theorien erarbeitet werden. Inhalt des zweiten Schrittes ist es, die Theorien auf Alltagssituationen anzuwenden, um ihre Stärken (und Schwächen) erfahrbar zu machen, sowie ihre Reichweiten auszuloten.
Studierende, die das Seminar besuchen wollen, sollten bereit sein, sich aktiv an den Diskussionen und Übungen zu beteiligen.
