This course introduces the fundamentals of Global Citizenship Education (GCE).
Students will explore its various definitions, understand the significance of globalization, examine its policies and implementation, examine why international organizations advocate for GCE and ponder the question, "Who is a global citizen?" Through case studies, discussions, and group work, we will examine the significance of interculturality, sustainability, human rights, and criticality in fostering a global consciousness to prepare to inspire our future students.
