Was Kindeswohl bzw. seine Gefährdung ausmacht, ist Gegenstand fortgesetzter fachlicher und auch gesellschaftspolitischer Aushandlungen. Vor dem Hintergrund des Nationalsozialismus gewährten die Verfasser*innen des Grundgesetzes Eltern bei der Erziehung und Pflege der Kinder eine relativ große Freiheit, sowohl mit Blick auf Erziehungspraktiken, Erziehungsinhalte sowie weltanschauliche oder religiöse Erziehung. In diesem Seminar schauen wir uns an, unter welchen Bedingungen im Kontext weltanschaulicher Gemeinschaften von Kindeswohlgefährdung gesprochen werden kann und vielleicht sogar muss. Es wird der Frage nachgegangen, wie Autoritarismus und autoritäre Erziehung, Chauvinismus und völkischer Rassismus kindliche Sozialisation beeinflussen.
