In diesem Seminar werden wir uns mit ausgewählten Ideen und Umsetzungsversuchen von sozialer Gerechtigkeit auseinandersetzen. Folgende leitenden Fragestellungen liegen der Veranstaltung zugrunde: Wie lässt sich der Kern der Idee sozialer Gerechtigkeit umreißen? Welche Grundunterscheidungen zwischen verschiedenen Auffassungen von sozialer Gerechtigkeit können vorgenommen werden? Wer sind die Subjekte und wer die Adressaten von sozialer Gerechtigkeit? Was sind potenziell problematische Faktoren wenn es darum geht, mehr soziale Gerechtigkeit herzustellen?
Das Ziel am Ende des Seminars ist es, gemeinsam Kriterien (einen kurzen 'Kriterienkatalog') erarbeitet zu haben, die es ermöglichen, Ideen, Debatten und Umsetzungen von sozialer Gerechtigkeit einer kritischen Überprüfung zu unterziehen.
Wir werden dafür Literatur (deutsche und ggf. englische) unter einer konkreten Fragestellung lesen und u. A. in Form von Gruppenarbeiten auswerten und diskutieren. Darüber hinaus ist ein zentraler Bestandteil des Seminars, dass Sie als Studierende aktiv den Erarbeitungsprozess des 'Kriterienkatalogs' zur Bewertung von Ideen sozialer Gerechtigkeit mitgestalten.
