Häufig beschränkt sich die unterrichtliche Behandlung funktionaler Zusammenhänge in der Sekundarstufe I auf wenige Funktionsklassen (lineare, quadratische und exponentielle), die isoliert betrachtet und insbesondere nicht mit anderen Themen der Schulmathematik in Zusammenhang gebracht werden.
In der Veranstaltung soll die Stellung des funktionalen Zusammenhangs als zentrale und themenübergreifende Leitidee in der Sekundarstufe I konkretisiert werden. Es sollen weiterhin Grundlagen für die Planung und Durchführung eines Mathematikunterrichts erarbeitet werden, der in angemessener Weise funktionale Grundvorstellungen berücksichtigt und eine Vernetzung mit anderen mathematischen Teilgebieten anstrebt.
Weitere Schwerpunkte werden die Analyse aktueller Anforderungen an den Mathematikunterricht (u.a. Bildungsstandards, Zentrale Prüfungen) und deren Auswirkungen auf die Konzeption des Unterrichts sein, die Betrachtung funktionaler Zusammenhänge vom "höheren Standpunkt" aus fachlicher Perspektive und die Modellierung mit Funktionen in Problembereichen aus Gesellschaft, Wissenschaft und Natur.
Alle weiteren im Modulhandbuch genannten Kompetenzen werden natürlich ebenfalls behandelt ...
