In diesem Kurs wird anhand von Vorträgen ergänzt durch praktische Übungen das grundlegende Handwerkszeug für die phontische Sprachsignalverarbeitung vermittelt. Konkret behandelt werden sollen die folgenden Themenbereiche

- Darstellungsmöglichkeiten von Sprachsignalen
- Merkmalsextraktion und Klassifikation
- Psychoakustik
- Grundzüge der Sprachtechnologie
