Ziel des Seminars ist, Kenntnisse über Phonologie zu vertiefen und die Phonologie verschiedener Sprachen miteinander zu vergleichen. Im Fokus steht dabei der Vergleich des Deutschen mit häufigen Herkunftssprachen von Schülern mit Migrationshintergrund, wie z.B. Türkisch, Arabisch und slawische Sprachen. Ein Bewusstsein für phonologische Unterschiede zwischen verschiedenen Sprachen ist gerade im Bereich der Grundschule wichtig, um Aussprachefehler und wiederholt auftretende falsche Schreibungen bei Kindern, die ihr phonologisches Bewusstsein an einer anderen Sprache entwickelt haben, genauer definieren und beheben zu können. Schließlich betrachten wir potentielle Probleme beim Schriftspracherwerb.

Es wird empfohlen, die Teilnahme an der Vorlesung ‚Einführung in die germanistische Linguistik’ abgeschlossen zu haben. Die Inhalte aus der Vorlesung werden als bekannt vorausgesetzt und können im Rahmen des Seminars nicht wiederholt werden.
