Im Kolloquium sollen literarische und literaturwissenschaftlich relevante Neuerscheinungen gemeinsam gelesen und diskutiert werden. Außerdem besteht für Examenskandidaten, Dokto-randen und Habilitanden die Möglichkeit, aus ihren Projekten vorzutragen und sich kritisch beraten zu lassen.
Vorträge von Gastwissenschaftlern ergänzen das Programm. Eine passive Teilnahme an diesem Kolloquium ist nicht sinnvoll.
