300042 Multivariate Analyseverfahren (S) (SoSe 2015)

Contents, comment

In dieser Veranstaltung sollen verschiedene multivariate Verfahren (z.\,B. Faktorenanalyse, Regressionsanalyse, Diskriminanzanalyse, Clusteranalyse) vorgestellt und anhand aktueller Daten durchgeführt werden. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die
praktische Anwendung der Verfahren, ihre Möglichkeiten und Voraussetzungen sowie die Interpretation von Auswertungsergebnissen. Sofern dies notwendig ist, werden auch die mathematischen Grundlagen betrachtet. Dabei werden Daten aus sozialwissenschaftlichen Studien verwendet und Fragestellungen aus dem Themenfeld der Soziologie (Sozialstrukturanalyse, Jugendsoziologie, Kriminologie etc.) behandelt.
