Im Seminar werden Grundpositionen der Geschichtsphilosophie (und ihrer Kritik) vom späten 18. bis zur Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts auf der Basis gemeinsamer Lektüre (Auszüge oder Ganzschriften) diskutiert. Vorgesehen sind (u.a.) Texte von Immanuel Kant, Friedrich Schiller, G.W.F. Hegel, Marx/Engels, Friedrich Nietzsche, Walter Benjamin, Horkheimer/Adorno u. Karl Jaspers.
