In Form eines Projektpraktikums soll die bestehende Dauerausstellung zur Geschichte des Tabakkonsums und dessen lokaler wirtschaftlicher und kultureller Bedeutung aus einem kritisch sozialwissenschaftlichen Blickwinkel betrachtet werden. Dies geschieht unter der Zielsetzung zusammen mit der Museumsleitung neue, antirassistische und postkoloniale Zugänge zum präsentierten Sujet zu entwickeln. Denn gerade die Geschichte des Tabakkonsums bietet sich an, koloniale Kontinuitäten und bestehende rassistische Praktiken zu thematisieren.
