The seminar provides a comprehensive overview of survey methods and research, i.e. the scientific methods of standardized survey interviews of the population. Students acquire in-depth knowledge in the core areas of survey methodology. In addition to the conception and sources of error of surveys, the course focuses on the construction of survey instruments on the basis of cognitive theories and empirical results on respondent behavior. The seminar will be held in English.
