220044 Geschichtsphilosophische Theorien (GSH+GST) (WiSe 2013/2014)

Das Grundseminar soll einerseits durch eine gemeinsame Lektüre und Diskussion von Textauszügen einen Überblick geben, andererseits besondere Problemfelder und Kontroversen verdeutlichen. Mit dieser Intention werden wichtige Grundpositionen der Geschichtsphilosophie behandelt, beispielsweise angefangen von Johann Gottfried Herder (1744-1803), Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814), Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831) über Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860), Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) bis zu Karl Jaspers (1883-1969), Max Horkheimer (1895-1973); Theodor Adorno (1903-1969) und Reinhart Kosellek (1923-2006). Hierbei werden Begrifflichkeiten geklärt, Fragestellungen und Thesen, die grundlegend für historische Debatten und Arbeiten geworden sind, reflektiert.
