In den aktuellen Diskussionen zur Gewalt herrscht große Unübersichtlichkeit. Die terroristische Gewalt, Gewalt in der Schule, sexuelle Gewalt, Gewalt in den Medien werden im gleichen Atemzug genannt. Politischer, soziologischer, pädagogischer, medizinischer und juristischer Diskurs vermischen sich. Angesichts dieser Unübersichtlichkeit ist eine sorgfältige Differenzierungsarbeit notwendig. Staatsgewalt bzw. Gewaltmonopol, körperliche Gewalt, psychische Gewalt sollten unterschieden werden. Neben der Begriffsanalyse sollten normative Fragen untersucht werden. Gibt es überhaupt eine legitime Gewalt? Wie unterscheidet sich eine legitime von einer illegitimen Gewalt? Ausgehend von einigen klassischen Texten wird das Seminar einige Dimensionen der Gewalt systematisch erkunden.

Teilnehmerbegrenzung (40 TN):
An diesem Seminar kann nur eine begrenzte Anzahl von 40 Studierenden teilnehmen. Zur Anmeldung tragen Sie die Veranstaltung in Ihren Stundenplan ein, die Platzvergabe erfolgt in der ersten Sitzung der Veranstaltung durch den Dozierenden. Benötigen Sie für Ihren Studienabschluss einen Platz in exakt dieser Veranstaltung (Härtefallregelung), melden Sie sich bitte bei Herrn Harnisch, T8-225.Vorkenntnisse:
Bachelor Einschreibung bis SS 11: Abschluss des ersten Studienjahres.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern für das Modulportfolio, auf dem die unbenotete Moduleinzelleistung beruht. Die Anforderungen für den Modulportfolio-Beitrag werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben.
Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 3 Leistungspunkten (Einschreibung ab WS 11/12) ist das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern bzw. 10-20 Minuten. Die genauen Anforderungen werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben.
