Studierende 1-60
Studierende können:- die Eigenschaften einer Stammzelle definieren und zwischen verschiedenen Stammzellarten differenzieren
- die Gewinnung von embryonalen Stammzellen beschreiben
- unterschiedliche adulte Stammzellpopulationen bennen
- die Generierung von induzierten pluripotenten Stammzellen erklären
- die Tumorstammzelltheroie wiedergeben
Ziel der Vorlesung ist es den Studierenden einen Einblick in die Vielfalt der Stammzellbiologie zu verschaffen, wobei auch die Relevanz von Stammzellen in der Forschung vermittelt wird. Nach einer Einführung in die Stammzellbiologie und der Definition der charakteristischen Merkmale von Stammzellen, wird der Begriff Stammzellpotenz anhand von embryonalen Stammzellen erklärt. Anschließend wird die Gewinnung von Embryonalen Stammzellen vorgestellt und der Unterschied zu adulten Stammzellen anhand von Beispielen vermittelt. Des Weiteren wird die Generierung von induzierten pluripotenten Stammzellen und deren Einsatz in der Etablierung von in vitro Krankheitsmodellen erklärt. Die Vorlesung endet mit einem Einblick in die Tumorstammzelltheorie.
