This seminar supports students in learning and improving literature and scientific thinking skills with a focus on organizational psychology. In the first part students practice strategies with electronic literature databases (Psyndex & PsycINFO) and literature managing software (Citavi) and criteria for evaluating journal articles are discussed. In the second part, we start with our Journal Club: every week another journal article on the broad topic of emotions in the workplace will be presented shortly by a student and then discussed and worked with in class. Every participant is asked to read the article in advance (appr. 8 articles), and take part in discussions or other activities in class.
This seminar will be held in english, so you will be asked to talk and present in english, too. This is your chance to improve your english skills, no matter what your level is!
To register for the seminar, please subscripe yourself as a participant in both the eKVV and the corresponding Stud.IP class. Stud.IP will be open for registration from september 1st to 30th,2013.
