In dieser Veranstaltung wird in die Computerlinguistik im Allgemeinen und die Texttechnologie im Speziellen eingeführt, also Gebiete, die sich mit der maschinellen Verarbeitung sprachlicher Informationen befassen. Es wird dabei ein weiter Bogen gespannt von der Erfassung und Repräsentation sprachlicher Information in digitalen System hin zu der Weiterverarbeitung mit technischen Mitteln. Angesprochen wird auch die Behandlung gesprochen-sprachlicher Daten.
