Einen großen Teil unseres modernen Alltagslebens verbringen wir gemeinsam mit und unterstützt durch technische Geräte. Auf dem Weg zur Uni wird noch schnell etwas bei Facebook oder Twitter geposted, unser persönlicher Smartphone-Assistent Siri erinnert uns an Termine, und unser Staubsaugerroboter Roomba macht währenddessen zuhause für uns sauber. Wie beeinflussen diese technologischen Innovationen unser soziales Miteinander? Wie reagieren wir auf neue Technologien? Warum sprechen wir mit unserem Computer und geben unserem Navigationssystem einen Namen? Ersetzt der Kontakt mit einer Maschine den besten Freund oder die beste Freundin? Warum erzählen wir auf Facebook soviel über uns selbst? Können Roboter und virtuelle Argenten helfen, Vorurteile gegenüber Fremdgruppen abzubauen?
Im Seminar sollen die sozialpsychologischen Aspekte der Interaktion zwischen Mensch, Computer und Roboter genauer betrachtet werden. Hierzu werden sowohl klassische als auch neuere sozialpsychologische Theorien sowie aktuelle Forschungsbefunde erarbeitet und diskutiert.

Das Seminar richtet sich vorrangig an BSc-Studierende im Fach Psychologie. Das Seminar ist Teil von Modul R (R.1, R.2). Der vorherige Besuch der Vorlesung Sozialpsychologie wird empfohlen.
Verbindliche Anmeldungen können zwischen dem 01.10.2013 und 13.10.2013 per Email bei Frau Dr. Dieta Kuchenbrandt (dkuchenb@cit-ec.uni-bielefeld.de) erfolgen. Bitte übersenden Sie in der Anmeldungsemail auch Ihre Matrikelnummer. Ohne verbindliche Anmeldung kann Ihnen kein Platz im Seminar garantiert werden.
Bei Überbuchung erfolgt in der ersten Sitzung des Seminars ein Losentscheid.
