„Kein Döner Land“, „Jud Süß-Sauer“ und „Sie können aber gut Deutsch!“ –populärkulturelle Selbstrepräsentationen von ‚Minderheiten‘ finden oft humoristische Titel für Bücher über weniger lustige Phänomene: den Fortbestand und die Weiterentwicklung der (auch sprachlichen) Exklusion und Diskriminierung von ‚Anderen‘ durch die deutsche Mehrheitsgesellschaft. Unter Berücksichtigung (literatur-)theoretischer Überlegungen zu Dominanzkultur, Interkultur und minoritärer Kultur untersucht das Seminar literarische und (populär-)wissenschaftliche Gegenreden und Einsprüche: von ‚Türken‘, ‚Juden‘, ‚Russen‘ und anderen Deutschen.
