401571 Praxisprojekt E-Health: Developing research-based educational/awareness materials for AQH Kosovo (Pj) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Contents, comment

Accessible Quality Healthcare (AQH) is a project with the aim of improving the Primary Healthcare Services and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) in Kosovo. NCDs continue to be the leading cause of death globally, with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases accounting for a big portion of these deaths. People with non-communicable diseases, or at risk, require long-term care that is proactive, patient-centred, community-based and sustainable. To this end, developing Primary Health Care is essential for sound management of NCDs.

In this hands-on project, you will think creatively and design communication materials for a specific target group assigned by the AQH Kosovo on the topics of Nutrition, Physical Excercise, NCDs, Diabetes and Hypertension. To this end, you will be tasked with conceptual and practical implementation. As health communicators, you will be challenged to make complex research findings understandable to your target audience and to present them in an engaging and compelling that meets your respective communication objectives.

Student information

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
