250233 Digitale Medienästhetik (S) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Das Seminar nimmt die zunehmende Algorithmisierung und Datafizierung zum Anlass, über unterschiedliche Positionen der Medienästhetik zu sprechen. Anhand ausgewählter kreativer und künstlerischer medialer Phänomene werden bestehende Verständnisse von Medienästhetik zur Diskussion gestellt. Inwiefern fordern digitale bzw. algorithmische Infrastrukturen (wie Künstliche Intelligenz) das Konzept von Medienästhetik heraus bzw. inwiefern muss von einer digitalen oder sogar algorithmischen Ästhetik die Rede sein?
Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, ein medienpädagogisches Grundverständnis über das Verhältnis von Ästhetik, Medialität und Digitalität zu bekommen und pädagogische Handlungsfelder im Umgang mit digitalen Technologien und künstlerischen Medienpraktiken zu thematisieren.
