Einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Entwicklung geschlechterreflexiver Beratung leistet feministische Beratung bei Gewalt, wie sie sich insbesondere in den Schutz- und Beratungsorganisationen für Frauen* in den verschiedenen Frauenbewegungen entwickelt hat. Nach einem historischen Rückblick auf den Beitrag der verschiedenen Bewegungen steht im Mittelpunkt des weiteren Seminarverlaufs die feministische Beratungspraxis der von häuslicher Gewalt im Lebenslauf betroffenen Akteur*innen. Nach Klärung des begrifflichen Verständnisses von häuslicher Gewalt und Vermittlung der (menschen-)rechtlichen Grundlagen zum Gewaltschutz sollen die Folgen akuter wie vergangener, einmaliger wie mehrmaliger häuslicher Gewalt im und für den Lebenslauf beleuchtet werden. Feministische Beratung hat neben sozialwissenschaftlichen Wissensbeständen auch psychologische Wissensbestände zu nutzen. Die Perspektiven der verschiedenen theoretischen Zugänge sollen im Rahmen des Seminars beleuchtet und diskutiert werden. Vertiefend zu den theoretischen Inhalten soll ein Film gezeigt und Beratungshandeln aus Bielefelder Opferschutzeinrichtungen vorgestellt werden.
