In diesem Seminar werden wir uns dem Internetphänomen "Memes" aus linguistischer Perspektive nähern. Dazu beschäftigen wir uns mit Bildlinguistik, Textbildbezügen und Grafik/Layout. Außerdem befassen wir uns mit Ironie und Humor im Internet. Ein weiteres Thema sollen medien- bzw. sprachwissenschaftliche sowie mediensoziologische Untersuchungsansätze der Analyse von Memes sein.
Je nach Teilnehmendenzahl sowie Pandemiebedingungen erarbeiten die Studierenden eine Posterausstellung oder eine online-Präsentation ihrer Ergebnisse.
Requirements for participation, required level

Linguistische sowie mediensoziologische Grundkenntnise der Analyse von Sprache und Bild im Internet von Vorteil.
Interesse an Memes zwingende Voraussetzung.
