Iris Mudorch begann ihre Karriere als Philosophin, wechselte aber von der Akademie in die Belletrisitik. Überlegungen zur Philosophie hat sie dessenungeachtet immer wieder angestellt, insbesondere zur Rolle der Kunst und zur Ethik. Zudem war sie eine Kennerin der französischen Philosophie (Sartre, Derrida). Im Blockseminar werden wir uns ihrer Schrift "Metaphysics as a guide to morals" widmen.
