Anhand herausragender japanischer Animationsfilme der letzten Jahre wird im Seminar der Einfluss der "Anime" auf die Jugendkultur beleuchtet und es wird der Frage nachgegangen, wie wirkungs- und wie erfolgreich stilistische Muster des japanischen Animationsfilms im Kinder- und Jugendkino hierzulande sind. Mit Animes öffnet sich ein erweiterter ästhetischer Filmhorizont und es öffnen sich neue Dimensionen in der Zielgruppendefinition von Kinder- und Jugendfilmen.
