Die aktuelle literatur- und medientheoretische Forschungsdiskussion beschäftigt sich intensiv mit der Bedeutung der Zeit in und von ästhetischen Strukturen.
Das Seminar fragt, ausgehend von literatur- und medientheoretischen Grundlagentexten wie z.B. Lessings 'Laokoon', danach, wie Zeit in literarischen Strukturen gestaltet wird, ob dabei Wissen von Zeit nur thematisiert wird oder Literatur und Medien eine eigene Zeitlichkeit darstellen.Hinweis: Auf Grund einer Tagungsteilnahme in Marbach wird die erste Sitzung erst am 18.10. stattfinden. Die ausfallende Sitzung wird im Rahmen einer - verpflichtenden - Blockveranstaltung am 1.11. nachgeholt.

Da im Seminar auch anspruchsvollere literatur- und medientheoretische Texte diskutiert werden, ist der Abschluss der Einführungs- und Basismodule wünschenswert. Zumindest das literaturtheoretische Basismodul sollte halbwegs abgeschlossen sein.

Für die ersten Sitzungen am 18. und 25.10. (siehe Inhalt, Kommentar) beschaffen Sie sich bitte folgende Gedichte und bereiten Sie diese vor:
Paul Fleming, Gedanken über die Zeit; Ludwig Tieck, Zeit; Gotffried Keller, Die Zeit geht nicht; Paul Celan, Corona.
In der Blockveranstaltung am 1.11. beschäftigen wir uns mit den Abschnitten III, XIV-XVIII und XXI von Lessings 'Laokoon'. Diesen Grundlagentext bitte ich anzuschaffen, wobei ich die neue, von Friedrich Vollhardt hg. Studienausgabe im Reclam-Verlag empfehle.
