Contents, comment

Seine theologischen Auseinandersetzungen mit Orthodoxie, Neologie und Deismus und seine auf Theologie und Religion bezogenen Schriften sind für Lessings Leben und Werk zentral. Darum wird sich das Seminar auf diesen Komplex konzentrieren, genauer auf
- 'Nathan der Weise'
- 'Die Erziehung des Menschengeschlechts'
- Die 'Fragmente eines Ungenannten' und den 'Fragmentenstreit'
- 'Wie die Alten den Tod gebildet'

Requirements for participation, required level

Zu diesem Seminar gehört eine zweitägige Exkursion an die Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel, eine der berühmtesten und größten Frühneuzeit-Bibliotheken der Welt. Lessing war in Wolfenbüttel Bibliothekar. Diese Exkursion, die von unserer Fakultät bezuschusst wird, findet am 25.-26. Januar 2013 statt. Die verbindliche Anmeldung wird mit einer Anzahlung im Oktober 2012 erforderlich sein. Über die Höhe der individuellen Kostenbeteiligung werden die Teilnehmer rechtzeitig durch eine Rundmail informiert.
Einige Sitzungen des Seminars werden in diese Exkursion gelegt.
