Im Modul Praxisstudien soll den Studierenden die Möglichkeit gegeben werden, mehrere Berufsfelder aus dem Praxisbereich Kommunikationsmanagement intensiver kennenzulernen, um die eigenen berufspraktischen Kompetenzen vor dem Eintritt in den Beruf überprüfen und gegebenenfalls ergänzen zu können.
Probleme in Durchführung und Struktur des Praktikums werden in der Gruppe besprochen, Lösungen werden gemeinsam entwickelt und gegenseitig Anregungen ausgetauscht.
Dieses Kolloquium richtet sich also hauptsächlich (aber nicht ausschließlich) an Studierende, die bereits ein oder mehrere Praktika absolviert haben. Diese werden einen Teil der Sitzungen durch kurze Berichte aus ihrem Praktikum gestalten. Einige Sitzungen werden durch Gäste aus der Praxis bestritten, die ihr Berufsfeld vorstellen und Hinweise zu Ausbildung und Bewerbung geben werden. Ein kleinerer Teil der Sitzungen wird sich mit dem Erstellen des Praktikumsberichtes und dem Suchen und Finden von Praktikumsplätzen befassen.
