250326 Werkstattforschung "Schulabsentismus und Soziale Arbeit" (S) (SoSe 2022)

Schulabsentismus, umgangssprachlich auch als "Schulschwänzen" bezeichnet, ist ein Phänomen, dass aktuell unter bildungs-, sozial- und ordnungspolitischen Gesichtspunkten, aber auch im Hinblick auf sogenannte „Schulstreiks“, breit diskutiert wird. Synonym zum Begriff "Schulschwänzen" finden sich aber auch Begriffe wie "Schulmüde", "Schulabstinent" oder "Schulverweigerung". Im Seminar wird es, neben der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit den Begriffen und dem damit verbundenen "negativen Image", auch darum gehen, theoretische und empirische Texte rund um das Themenfeld zu bearbeiten und Ansätze „guter“ (sozial-)pädagogischer Arbeit mit Schulschwänzer:innen zu diskutieren. Konzipiert als „Werkstattforschung“ wird es darüber hinaus auch die Möglichkeit geben, an einem Forschungsprojekt zum Thema aktiv mitzuarbei-ten, d.h. Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung mit zu gestalten. Dies ist insbesondere für Teilnehmende mit Interesse an thematischen Vertiefungs- und Qualifikationsarbeiten zu empfehlen.

Die regelmäßige Teilnahme an den ausgewiesenen Sitzungen wird als verbindlich vorausgesetzt. Die Bescheinigung einer Studienleistung erfolgt durch die Gestaltung bzw. Bearbeitung einzelner Themenschwerpunkte und Forschungsfragen in Kleingruppen und einer Präsentation der Ergebnisse im Plenum bzw. als asynchrone Beiträge im Seminar-e Portfolio (e-portfolio mahara).
