Die Forschungswerkstatt I ist als Übung angelegt und so strukturiert, dass es zu Beginn der Veranstaltung einige Präsenzsitzungen gibt, in denen kurze inhaltliche Inputs zu Fragen wie Thema, Gegenstand, Forschungsfrage, methodische Herangehensweise etc. gegeben werden.

Daran schließt sich eine Arbeitsform an, in der Sie alleine und zum Austausch in Tandems an der Entwicklung erster Ideen oder aber an der Weiterentwicklung bereits bestehender Ideen zu Ihrem Forschungsprojekt arbeiten.

Im Vordergrund steht in der Forschungswerkstatt I die Festlegung auf ein Thema, die Eingrenzung des Untersuchungsinteresses, die Entwicklung/Präzisierung der eigenen Forschungsfrage sowie praktische Tools zur Unterstützung für die Entscheidung, welche methodische Herangehensweise für Ihren Forschungsgegenstand angemessen ist. Hierzu erhalten Sie Arbeitsaufgaben, die Sie bei Ihrem jeweiligen Prozess im Forschungsprojekt begleiten und unterstützen sollen und die zeitlich relativ flexibel eingeteilt und bearbeitet und im Austausch mit Tandempartner_innen diskutiert werden können. Darüber hinaus gibt es in gemeinsamen Sitzungen die Möglichkeit, aktuelle Arbeitsschritte, Fragen und Probleme gemeinsam zu besprechen und sich auszutauschen.

Texte zu kritisch-reflexiven Perspektiven auf Forschung zu Flucht/Migration in Differenzverhältnissen werden zudem bereitgestellt, die für die theoretische und metho(dolog)ische Konzeption Ihres Forschungsprojekts hilfreich sein können.
