Die Veranstaltung setzt sich mit den verschiedenen Dimensionen des weltpolitischen Systems auseinander und greift dabei auf Konzepte und Ideen aus der Politikwissenschaft, der Soziologie sowie angrenzender Disziplinen zurück. Im Vordergrund steht dabei die Verbindung von Theorien der Weltgesellschaft mit aktuellen Fragestellungen der internationalen und transnationalen Politik.

Neben der regelmäßigen Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung wird von den Studierenden erwartet, dass die Pflichtlektüre gelesen, vorbereitet und sich aktiv an der Lehrveranstaltung beteiligt wird. Näheres zur aktiven Teilnahme wird in der ersten Sitzung mitgeteilt. Ferner wird von den Studierenden erwartet, dass Sie sich im Stud-IP für die Veranstaltung registrieren (das Passwort wird in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben).
Der Erwerb eines Leistungsnachweises ist folgendermaßen möglich: a) Referat (ca. 20-25 Min. und Moderation der anschließenden Diskussion) mit schriftlicher Ausarbeitung oder b) Hausarbeit.
