Zunächst wird es um den Begriff des Sachrechnens an sich gehen. Im weiteren Verlauf des Seminars werden die Schwerpunkte auf der Modellierung, dem Problemlösen und diversen Aufgabentypen liegen. Des Weiteren geht es um einige konkrete Themengebiete des Sachrechnens (wie z.B. Rechnen mit Größen, Bruchrechnung, Prozent- und Zinsrechnung) mit Schwerpunkt auf der Sekundarstufe I an. In der 2. Hälfte des Seminars werden die Studierenden in Gruppen Unterrichtsstunden zu einem zuvor von ihnen gewählten Thema durchführen und diese dann im Seminar Ihren Kommilitonen präsentieren.
