Die Spannung zwischen der Annahme des Determinismus und menschlicher Freiheit und damit auch moralischer Verantwortung ist keineswegs erst eine Entdeckung der Neuzeit. Vielmehr wurde dieses Problem bereits in der Antike facettenreich unter dem Titel des Schicksals diskutiert. Im Seminar soll durch intensive Lektüre und Diskussion ausgewählter antiker Texte zum Schicksal und zur Lebensführung versucht werden, einen ersten Überblick über die Hauptströmungen der antiken Philosophie zu gewinnen.
Planen Sie zur Vorbereitung der Einführungssitzung bitte die Lektüre eines noch bekannt zu gebenden Einführungstextes in die antike Philosophie ein. Der Text wird Ihnen rechtzeitig über die Dokumentenablage des ekvv zur Verfügung gestellt.
