Der Konfliktbegriff wird normalerweise als Gegenbegriff und theoretische Alternative zum Systembegriff geführt. Gegenstand dieser Lehrveranstaltung ist demgegenüber das Konfliktverständnis der Systemtheorie selbst, das an dafür geeigneten Texten vorgestellt und diskutiert werden soll. Behandelt werden unter anderem: der Rechtsstreit, der Streit unter Anwesenden, organisationsinterne Konflikte oder solche, die durch Protestbewegungen ausgelöst werden.
