In der qualitativen Forschung spielt der verbale Zugang, das Gespräch, eine wichtige Rolle im Prozess der Datenerhebung. Subjektive Bedeutungen, die Menschen den Sachverhalten ihres alltäglichen Handelns zuschreiben, sind nur schwer aus Beobachtungen oder Fragebogenerhebungen ableitbar. Man muss hier die Subjekte selbst zu Wort kommen lassen, denn sie sind die ExpertInnen für ihre eigenen Bedeutungsgehalte (vgl. Mayring 2002, S. 66). Mittels interviewgestützter Erhebungsmethoden wird diesen Überlegungen Rechnung getragen. Das Seminar dient dem Kompetenzerwerb in der computergestützten Auswertung qualitativer Daten aus Leitfaden-Interviews.
