Die Veranstaltung erstreckt sich über zwei Semester und verbindet Elemente aus dem Bereich „Philosophische Analyse von Alltagsproblemen“ und „Präsentation“.
Es sollen gemeinsam philosophische Probleme behandelt werden, die sich aus Alltagserfahrungen ergeben bzw. die nicht nur von fachphilosophischem, sondern auch von allgemeinem Interesse sind. Die Teilnehmer sollen dazu (evtl. in kleinen Gruppen) Präsentationen entwickeln, die sie im Seminar vorstellen, und die anschließende Diskussion moderieren.

Notwendige Vorkenntnisse im BA-Studiengang (Einschreibung bis SoSe 11): Abschluss des ersten Studienjahres.
Notwendige Vorkenntnisse im MA ed.-Studiengang: Abschluss des Textverständnis-Kurses.

Die im Seminar besprochenen Texte werden den Teilnehmern als Kopiervorlage zur Verfügung gestellt.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 4 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das erfolgreiche Erbringen einer benoteten Einzelleistung. Die benotete Einzelleistung wird durch ein Portfolio aus zwei bis drei kürzeren eigenen Texten erbracht, die mit dem Leiter des Kurses individuell und detailliert besprochen werden. Anzahl und ungefähre Länge der geforderten Texte werden zu Beginn des Semesters bekannt gegeben.
