In allen Bereichen der aktuellen Philosophie spielen formale Instrumente und Theorien eine Rolle. Jede Studentin/jeder Student der Philosophie sollte zumindest mit den Grundideen der wichtigsten dieser Ansätze bekannt sein. Die Vorlesung wird zentrale formale Mittel aus der Theoretischen und der Praktischen Philosophie vorstellen. Die Vorlesung wird die fol-genden Themenblöcke umfassen:
(0) Deduktive Argumente (Grundideen und Wiederholung)
(1) Induktives Schließen, Wahrscheinlichkeit und Bayes
(2) Entscheidungstheorie
(3) Spieltheorie
(4) Mengen – Relationen – Funktionen
(5) ModallogikIm Kurs werden wir Kernelemente der jeweiligen Theorien entwickeln und diskutieren. Dieses formale Arbeiten ist kein Selbstzweck, sondern dient dazu, Ihr Verständnis für die Theo-riebildung, ihre Bedeutung und ihre Konsequenzen zu entwi-ckeln.
Der Kurs besteht aus einer Vorlesung und aus Tutorien, in de-nen die Übungsaufgaben besprochen und Lösungszettel her-ausgeben werden. Sie müssen sich auf jeden Fall für die Vorle-sung und separat für eines der Tutorien anmelden. Die Tutori-entermine sind: (1) Montag 16-18 Uhr, (2) Mittwoch 14-16 Uhr (3) Freitag 10-12 Uhr.
Der Kurs Logik 2 baut nicht auf den Kurs Logik 1 auf. Die in der Logik 1 erworbenen formallogischen Vorkenntnisse sind hilf-reich für die Logik 2, aber nicht notwendig. Die basalen formal-logischen Mittel, die wir für den aktuellen Kurs brauchen, wer-den wir im Laufe der Vorlesung neu einführen.
Alle Materialien für den Kurs werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn über den Lernraum-Plus der Veranstaltung bereitgestellt.
Hinweis für Studierende des Profils "Studienmodell 2011 - BA/NF (Gym/Ge)": Das Modul 26-Logik zählt zur Profilphase und muss studiert werden. Es wird empfohlen das Studium des Moduls 26-Logik im 3. Fachsemester aufzunehmen.
