Das Seminar findet z.T. digital, live zur genannten Zeit & z.T. digital, im Selbststudium (online synchron/asynchron) statt.
Übergänge finden im Kindes- und Jugendalter in sehr verscheidenen Formen statt und unterliegen einem kontinuierlichen Wandel. Forschung zu Übergängen verbindet in Ihrer Analyseperspektive die soziale Regulierung von Übergängen mit der subjektiven Bewältigung dieser Übergänge in biographischer Perspektive. Die Erforschung von Übergängen erlaubt es zudem, Kindheit und Jugend als historisch, gesellschaftlich, sozial und diskursiv hervor-gebrachte Konzepte thematisieren. Für Erziehungswissenschaft und pädagogische Praxis sind Übergänge nicht nur deswegen ein so interessantes Thema, weil Sie aktiv an ihrer Institutionalisierung und Gestaltung beteiligt ist/sind. An der Art und Weise, wie Übergänge gesellschaftlich gerahmt und gestaltet werden lässt sich einiges über die Lebensphasen Jugend und Kindheit in Erfahrung bringen. Auf individueller Ebene sind Übergänge immer auch biographische Bildungsanlässe. Nicht zuletzt sind Institutionen des Sozial- (Aus)- Bildungssystems immer auch zentrale Schaltstellen biographischer Übergänge: in ihren Kategorisierungen und Unterscheidungen spiegeln sich gesellschaftliche Normalisierungsansprüche und verschiedene Formen sozialer Ungleichheit.
In diesem Seminar insbesondere drei thematische Schwerpunkte bearbeitet werden: 1.) Eine Grundlagentheorethische Verständigung zu den Lebensphasen Kindheit und Jugend und theorethischen Konzepten (Übergänge, Lebenslauf, Biographie) 2.) verschiedene (theorethische & empirische) Perspektiven auf Übergänge (insb. Biografie-, Subjekt- und Praxistheorethische Ansätze); 3.) Empirische Studien zu "Übergängen" aus verschiedenen (lebensalterbezogenen) Kontexten.
