Wer steuert wie unser Bildungssystem? Zur Beantwortung dieser Frage gehen Forschungsarbeiten aus dem Feld der Educational Governance nicht mehr von einer rein hierarchischen top-down Steuerung durch den Staat aus, sondern beziehen auch nicht-staatliche Akteure und neue Steuerungsmodi in ihre Analysen ein.
In diesem Seminar befassen Sie sich mit dem Ansatz der analytischen Educational Governance-Forschung, dem bildungspolitischen Kontext (z. B. Neoliberalismus und Wissensgesellschaft), verschiedenen „neuen“ Akteuren (z. B. OECD und Stiftungen), neuen Steuerungsmodi (z. B. mithilfe von PISA-Ergebnissen oder Schulwettbewerben) und dem Transfer von Bildungsreformen (policy borrowing/lending).
Im Rahmen dieses Seminars erlernen Sie verschiedene Grundlagen zur Analyse bildungspolitischen Handelns. Der inhaltliche Fokus des Seminars liegt auf der System- sowie vor allem auf der Akteursebene.

Die Veranstaltung ist als wöchentlich stattfindendes Literaturseminar konzipiert, bei dem Sie jeweils einen wissenschaftlichen Text (auf Deutsch oder Englisch) lesen, der anschließend im Seminar besprochen wird. Die Durchführung erfolgt online via Zoom.
