In der Lehrveranstaltung wird eine Auseinandersetzung mit der Bedeutung von Professionalität zunächst theoretisch hinsichtlich von reflexiv angelegten Professionalitätsmodellen verhandelt. Der wissenschaftliche Diskurs zu „Professionellem Handeln“ soll anschließend mit Blick auf praktische Perspektiven diskutiert werden. Gefragt wird, inwiefern ein spezifisch professioneller Rückgriff auf Fachwissen und das erworbene Können der sozialpädagogisch Handelnden für die Herstellung eines Arbeitsbündnisses mit Nutzer*innen sozialer Dienstleistungen dienlich sein können.
Im Rahmen der digitalen Umsetzung des Seminars werden Praxisvertreter*innen aus den Bereichen Allgemeiner Sozialer Dienst eines Jugendamtes, Kinderschutzzentrum, Mutter- bzw. Vater-Kind-Wohnen und aus der Praxis der interkulturellen Hilfen zur Erziehung via Zoom eingeladen, um gemeinsam über das Verständnis von Professionalität in den verschiedenen Feldern der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe zu diskutieren.
