Die Vorlesung führt in bedeutende dogmatische und ethische Entwürfe der Kirchengeschichte ein. Da-bei konzentriert sie sich in internationaler Perspektive besonders auf die neuere Theologiegeschichte und auf aktuelle Konzeptionen. Auf diese Weise soll eine Orientierung im Blick auf wichtige dogmati-sche und ethische Grundlagen und ihre Zusammenhänge gegeben werden. So erschließen sich ange-sichts aktueller dogmatischer und ethischer Herausforderungen die Horizonte zur Beantwortung grund-legender theologischer Fragestellungen im Religionsunterricht.
